Overview

Sharp Business Systems (SBS), a direct sales division of Sharp Electronics Corporation, has an immediate opening for a student intern with the right combination of initiative, organizational skills, and sales know-how to help us grow. In this internship, you will you be working directly with our Sales Leaders to learn how to use key sales tools like Salesforce. You’ll also get hands-on experience building leads, qualifying customers, and closing deals, in a way that will leave you prepared for any sales job you want going forward.

Responsibilities

Key things you’ll learn: 

  • Solution based selling skills, with a strong emphasis on enterprise sales strategies.
  • The steps of the sales cycle.
  • Sales techniques that will help you engage the right people at each prospective customers.
  • How to use Salesforce, Inside-View, and other leading sales software programs.
  • How to create expert presentations for our outside sales team to pursue key clients.

Qualifications

What we are looking for:

  • Junior and Senior year students desiring a career in business to business sales upon graduation.
  • An interest in Sales, Marketing, and Business (Marketing and General Business majors strongly preferred).
  • An understanding of information technology
  • A strong interest in cutting edge business technologies and applications.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • High level of comfort working with clients
  • Enthusiasm, creativity, and a desire to learn
  • Note: Require a valid driver’s license and means to drive to multiple locations on a daily basis
