Overview

Candidates can live in one of the following cities: Denver, Phoenix, Las Vegas or a city in Southern California.

 

The Regional Major Account Manager assists the Sharp dealer community in promotiong Major Account Programs and secures Major Account transactions.

Responsibilities

  • Primary point-of-contact for Dealer Major Accounts. Helps TBM assist in maintaining dealer major accounts throughout the sales relationship.
  • Sell Sharp products and services to and maintain current Contracted MAP Accounts.
  • Maintain 100% of sales revenue and unit budget for assigned quota.
  • Develop strategies together with VP/AVP/Director and TBM to target and increase sales by dealer and by market.
  • Schedule activities in dealer targeted accounts with dealer’s salespeople on a weekly basis. This would include but not be limited to presentations and demonstations to end users.
  • Increase Dealer program knowledge of all Sharp major account programs including MAP, CGEM, Steet Force and any pilot programs that may develop.
  • Effective communication of Sharp Major Account programs and promotions to dealers. This is to be accomplished via email and dealer visits with dealership management and sales teams.
  • Responsible for identifying and qualifying long-term and short-term business opportunities and pro-actively identifying and addressing competitive threats.
  • Along with territory TBM help lead the overall bid and proposal process for RFP’s to ensure prompt and accurate completion according to our bid process guidelines.
  • In tandem with the territory TBM help negotiate pricing strategies for specific accounts in conjunction with internal Sharp Bid support team.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Sharp products both hardware and software along with industry trends, technical developments, industry issues, concerns.
  • Assume responsibility for accurate major account sales forecasting by demonstrating in depth knowledge of sales cycles from initial contact through the procurement process, ensure SalesForce is utilized appropriately and consistantly maintained.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with assigned dealer and major accounts.
  • Timely follow up and resolution of dealer/major account issues, including timely backup documentation submission.
  • Cooperation with all Sharp organizations in supporting dealers and major accounts.
  • Work with the TBM to prepare formal proposals and presentations to all Major Account personnel levels for VIP, dealer, and end user opportunities.
  • Work closely with Dealer Development manager to train and support all new dealers.

Qualifications

  • College degree in business or marketing or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of proven experience selling office equipment directly to National Accounts.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact successfully with employees at all levels across the organization and in the dealer community.
  • Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Salesforce.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Must be a highly motivated and organized team player.
  • Must be able to travel up to 80% of the time within assigned territory.
