Under the direction of the VP/AVP Regional Sales & Service Operations, the Senior Territory Business Manager is responsible for territory sales and dealer activities.  Responsible for selling Sharp Copier and Imaging Systems line through dealers and attaining assigned quota by dealer visitation, sales training, market coverage, product information, communicating with dealer community, monitoring dealer performance, and competitive product information.


  • Achieve quota expectations and any assigned MBO’s.
  • Accurate outlook of sales via forecasting on monthly basis.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with assigned dealer and major accounts.
  • Effective communication of Sharp programs and promotions to assigned dealers.
  • Function as the main contact/quarterback for assigned dealers.
  • Timely resolution to dealer/major account issues.
  • Cooperation and support to all other Sharp organizations in support to dealers and major accounts.
  • Manage to expense expectations and budgets.
  • Manage dealer performance to expectations.
  • Ensure dealers’ resources are effectively trained.
  • Work with dealers in all areas of their business including purchase planning, credit lines, inventory management, marketing promotions, and product launches.
  • Additional goals and metrics to include but not be limited to the following:
  • Total number of sales reps available to sell Sharp.
  • Total number of sales reps who are Gold Certified, UR.
  • Total number of sales reps claiming UR per month, quarter, fiscal.
  • Grid of 1, 2, 3, 4.
  • Total number of MAP deals by:

              MAP A
                MAP  B

                Negotiated MAP

                Deals >$100K

                Total pipeline by month – factored

  • Distribution of sales across mono and color and growth.
  • Market share in account.

                By Segment

  • Number of sales calls per month on end users with dealer reps.
  • Number of demos per month.
  • Number of trainings per month ( including 1:1, small group, formal and informal).
  • YOY account growth.


  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in selling Copier and Imaging Systems documents through the dealer channel.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Project Management Skills.
  • Consistently performs over assigned budgets.
  • Should have good knowledge of sales, service, and administrative functions.
  • College degree preferred.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Up to 80% territory travel required.
