  • Overview

    Under the direction of the Director of Technology Integration, the Sales Trainer is responsible for providing Sales skills and SIICA product training to both the Sharp Sales Team and Sharp Authorized MFP Dealers.   Additionally the Sales Trainer will provide training on Sharp’s Aquos Board and Display products as well as training and support for software products and other Products SIICA may choose to sell.


    • Provides sales and product training seminars as directed on Sharp’s varied product li
    • Is accountable and responsible in work practices and expectations. Delivers what is promised in a professional manner.
    • Reviews sales training procedures and minimum requirements for delivery of all sales training seminars as directed.
    • Monitors effectiveness of training within assigned territory and provide monthly and/or weekly reports utilizing the tools and programs provided, including but not limited to Sales Force.
    • Responsible for staying current on all the latest SIICA products and softwar
    • Responsible for an increase in sales at dealerships and direct branches by providing a superior level of training and
    • Provides sales skills training at dealer partners on an as need basis.
    • Holds scheduled sales skills and product training sessions at Sharp facilities and on demand at Dealer Locations.
    • Attends and assists with dealer open house and specialty events on an as needed basis.
    • Assists with end user sales calls when schedule permits as part of the follow up training with dealer sales people.


    • Minimum of 3 – 5 years sales experience with a proven track recor
    • Experience in the Office Automation industry preferred.
    • Experience teaching product and sales techniques to others of varying age groups.
    • Must have excellent presentation skills and a professional presence as well as the ability to motivate, teach and inspire a sales staff.
    • A valid driver’s license and excellent driving record are required.
    •  Excellent computer skills required and a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Sales knowledge of MFP dealer operations, product usage and distribution is helpful.
    • .Ability to travel with up to 80% being overnight.
