    This position will provide sales expertise in the areas of product presentation, project assessment and validation, and will assist our general sales force during the proposal and technical discovery phases of the sales cycle.



    • Achieve solution/software sales quota objectives.
    • Perform customer needs assessment for network, hardware and workflow requirements.
    • Initiate new product requests from the field. Support product life-cycle planning.
    • Identify training needs within the selling operation and implement action either personally or via corporate training organization.
    • Act as technical advisor to the selling operation on market/product issues, coordination of related technical service projects.
    • Work on behalf of the customer to assist in securing appropriate levels of system readiness for implementation.
    • Create and deliver customer presentations as appropriate.
    • Work with sales to support all departments within the facility to manage requirements and set expectations during the sales cycle.
    • Act as a conduit from the field to Customer Ops to clarify, qualify and present product requests/needs to the development team for appropriate incorporation.


    • Minimum of 2+ years in an equivalent application/sales engineering position with proven sales/support experience.
    • Minimum of five or more years of field and corporate experience with software and/or network sales and technical support
    • Experience specifically with pre-sale, and sales support activity, as well as service related support issues.
    • In depth knowledge of the most widely used network technologies and topologies, and industry software.
    • Familiarity with scanners and image storage systems as well as document distribution devices and software.
    • Ability to communicate technical information effectively verbally, in written and graphic formats.
    • Understanding of network/enterprise software. i.e. (Tivoli, CA, SAP, SharePoint software)
    • Bachelor’s degree or completion of relevant post-secondary technical and computer related training programs. i.e. BS in Computer Science, CNE, MCSE.
    • A valid drvier's license.
