    Responsible for supporting, crafting, monitoring and measuring Sharp home appliance brand and products success across all relevant touch points including: channels of distribution, ecommerce sites, social channels, consumers, partners, employees and the media industry.

    Responsibilities

    • Support and elevate Sharp’s appliance brand and product positioning based on:
      • Internal and external drivers
      • Core products, new technologies, corporate strengths, competition
      • Sharp corporate direction and definitions
    • Serve as digital brand evangelist, product and consumer insight leader utilizing sales and marketing performance data, behavioral analyses and market research (primary and secondary) to drive best in class sales and marketing recommendations.
    • Work closely with our Sharp sales organization on our top 50 ecommerce accounts to ensure best practices and opportunities to ensure sell-in and sell-through results.
    • Support and guide launch and daily sell-through process for new product lines as well as current lines including:
      • Consumer, retail and digital ecommerce channel and editorial brand and product messaging and positioning
      • Support all national, regional, channel and local Sharp events including trade shows and demonstrations
      • Digital assets and deployment to channel partners including maintaining digital scorecards and ecommerce market relationships
      • Manage the monitoring, reporting and enforcement of Sharp’s Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) policy.
      • Retail omni-channel sales and marketing opportunities
    • Enforce and support consistency of message across all communications channels including:
      • Channel (retail, channel partner) integration
      • Digital touchpoints (email, web sites, CRM, SCRM, SEO, SEM and DWM
      • PR relationships, social networking contacts and feedback
      • Consumer direct (advertising) through all Omni-channel touchpoints
    • Provide overall marcom team support and consultation
      • Interface regularly with SEMCA and Corporate senior management
      • Present plans, recap activities, current challenges/opportunities and solutions
      • Gain understanding of management strategy and communicate strategy to all SEMCA team members
      • Ensure deadlines are met
      • Monitor and report on project status
    • Evaluate and support all digital and off-line marcom brand touchpoints.
    • Support external marketing agencies.
    • Enter RFQs.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree.
    • Excels Independently with teams.
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a digital brand marketing function.
    • Strong organizational skills.
    • Demonstrated understanding of brand and product marketing principles.  
    • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
    • Experience working in a multi-cultural corporation is a plus.
    • Sharp centric experience in brand communications a plus.
    • Some travel may be required.
