  • Overview

    Our internship program is a great opportunity for a college student working towards a Marketing Degree.  The Intern will be responsible and involved in all facets of responding to RFP/Solicitations. 

    Responsibilities

    • Manage the process including:
    • reviewing the RFP/Solicitation;
    • deciding which departments will be required to provide input;
    • be aware of the timeline for various phases of the RFP/Solicitation (i.e. Questions Due; Final Response Date)Develop strategic corporate statements and/or responses for all requested sections of the bid and/or proposal.
    • Prepare and deliver FINAL response in a professional manner and in a timely manner, including all signed requested forms, written responses, pricing as requested, and sales and marketing material.
    • Review past bids to understand common industry questions / requirements.
    • Develop standardized corporate responses to common industry questions; such as Sharp’s
    • product unique features and specifications;
    • environmental programs and;
    • security
    • Request and receive information, data and answers from multiple internal sources to ensure:
    • consistent writing style
    • responses are appropriate and accurate
    • Interact professionally and effectively with individuals at all levels within the organization

    Qualifications

     

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as a strong attention to detail
    • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with, and coordinate the efforts of individuals at all levels across the organization
    • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
