  • Overview

    The National Field Operations Manager is responsible for working with the Branch Controllers and Operations Managers to share best practices, provide development to Operations/Admin teams and lead process improvement efforts across all SBS Branches.

    Responsibilities

    • Responsible for working with Branch Operations/Admin leadership on the development of branch employees involved with Operational processes including order entry, contract administration, inventory management, and logistics.
    • Identification and participation in updates and changes to (documentation and delivery) specific to SAP and Order Process.
    • Frequent review and evaluation of branch operational process’ in order to locate inefficiencies and apply improvements when needed.
    • Active role within the SAP Steering committee to provide a “voice of the branch” and assign priority levels to updates and enhancements
    • Assist with roll out of SAP to new acquisitions.
    • Assist with Facilitation of end of month “War Room” to resolve outstanding issues for month end close.
    • Share knowledge with the Director of Operations and other branches on effective practices, competitive intelligence, business opportunities and needs.
    • Up to 50% travel.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • 7- 10 years proven experience in Branch Operations Leadership
    • Ample knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management
    • Familiarity with business and financial principles and practices
    • Excellent organizational and leadership abilities
    • Outstanding communication and people skills
    • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
    • In depth knowledge of diverse business functions and principles (e.g. supply chain, finance, customer service etc.)
    • Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics
    • Familiarity with MS Office and various business software (e.g. ERP, CRM)
    • SAP Experience in a technology B2B sales environment and/or Oracle within the industry
    • Six Sigma Certification or similar training
    • BS/BA in business administration or relevant field
