    Working closely with a team of sales professionals, the Solutions Specialist position is a quota bearing sales focused role, primarily responsible for all software solution, visual solution, and managed network services sales in a given Sharp Business Systems (SBS) branch or region. Specialists serve as in-house subject matter experts for SBS’s professional services solutions to its customer base.


    • Work with sales team to identify sales opportunities, facilitate and support their sales efforts; provide special support needed to increase professional services sales; provide guidance for custom sales; participate in development of sales strategy, promotions and proposal writing ; monitor follow up for priority leads
    • Leverage a solution sales methodology to diagram/understand a client's current business process and make appropriate recommendations applying technology from the Sharp Professional Services suite to create quantifiable value through streamlining processes/creating efficiencies.
    • Serve as subject matter expert on Sharp’s professional services, visual solutions, and MNS offerings. Educate and train sales people on product.
    • Train and support customers on product when needed
    • Actively participate/attend product and sales training sessions both remote and onsite (travel required)
    • Achieve all monthly quarterly and fiscal quota targets
    • Responsible for engaging/coordinating specialized partner resources (both sales and technical) to support pre and post sales efforts
    • Prepare weekly and monthly sales analysis, activity reports and submit to upper management for review.
    • Meet with members of management to go over sales reports and determine necessary changes in strategies.
    • Responsible for assisting to complete bid/RFP responses pertinent to Sharp’s Solutions
    • Other projects and responsibilities as assigned


    • 3-6 years progressive experience and quota achievement in B2B technology sales
    • Prior Enterprise Content Management (ECM) experience strongly preferred
    • Demonstrates exceptional leadership, management and motivational skills
    • Possesses strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
    • Strong active listening abilities.
    • Displays excellent complex problem solving and decision making skills.
    • Exhibits strong verbal and written communication skills as well as excellent computer skills.
    • Superior interpersonal skills as well as strong customer service skills.
    • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
    • Extensive knowledge of the company’s products and services as well as changes in the market and industry trends.
    • Extensive experience with Microsoft office with a heavy emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint presentation preparation
    • Bachelor’s Degree in information technology or related field strongly preferred
