  • Overview

    This position works closely with the Branch General Manager and Senior Account Manager to expand business and establish new customers while interacting with existing customers to increase sales of the organization’s products or services. This is accomplished through identifying and developing new prospects, researching and identifying new industry trends and opportunities and establishing best practices and go to market strategies that will lead to achieving or exceeding established sales quotas.

    Responsibilities

    • Responsible for prospecting and developing relationships with existing and prospective clients
    • Implements a top-down sales approach targeting Presidents, CFOs, and CIOs to convert prospects into clients
    • Supplies product and service information to selected customers in an assigned territory and/or arranges for business analyses of customer's business communication requirements and develops benchmark demonstrations, proposals and value propositions that exceed customers' requirements resulting in the development of new customers and retention of existing accounts
    • Organizes and implements post-sale delivery and implementation of MNS solutions at customer locations
    • Acts as the primary point of contact for all sales paperwork
    • Proactively develops new customer contacts, reviews leads, participates in customers' business communication planning and delivers MNS proposals as prescribed by sales management
    • Meets or exceeds revenue and gross profit expectations
    • Plans and consults within a team-based work environment to coordinate activity
    • Promotes products/services and represents company at off-site customer meetings
    • Maintains records of all account activity within sales database
    • Identifies contacts in accounts and conducts strategic calls
    • Serves as first line of contact with customers

    Qualifications

    • 4-year college degree or equivalent experience in a related field
    • Minimum 2-4 years of successful business-to-business sales experience; one year of industry selling experience preferred
    • Experience selling IT based products/services and application based solutions a plus
    • Experience working with key decision makers
    • Experience in a value-added technology driven sales environment a plus
    • Strong knowledge of sales, service, and administrative functions
    • Broad knowledge of the organization's policies, products and/or services
    • BS/BA in a business-related field preferred.
    • Excellent written, presentation, and oral communication skills
    • Proficient in MS OfficeRequires a valid driver’s license along with ability to operate a motor vehicle on a daily basis to get to and from client locations
