  • Overview

    The role of the MNS Technical Support Analyst is to support the MNS program by scoping and supporting projects as well as addressing escalations. This role will handle server administration and management, backup, networking, and security issues along with other technologies. This role is customer-facing while proving technical support. Maintaining a good rapport with the client and the internal staff is a key component of this role.

    Responsibilities

    • Architect and scope projects for prospective and existing customers
    • Give sales support to the pre-sales staff
    • Work with vendors/partners on project requirements
    • Plan and document the implementation of projects
    • Execute the implementation of the projects: i.e. server migration, Office 365 migration, building new domain, network equipment upgrade, etc.
    • Setup and support backup solutions
    • Own escalations from the Help Desk and NOC
    • Onsite troubleshooting as needed
    • Identify hardware and project opportunities
    • Create and Update documentation of environments and fixes
    • Update tickets and project management in a timely manner
    • Onboarding new clients, including setting up workstations and gathering network information
    • Communicating with client and internal staff with timely updates
    • Oversee contractors and manage the tasks assigned to them
    • Work with and oversee junior MNS Team members
    • Maintain billable hours goal as assigned in the branch budget

    50% - Implement projects

    20% - Work on escalated tickets

    15% - On-Site Support

    15% - Administration, paperwork, research

    Qualifications

    • 5+ Years IT Industry experience required
    • Highly detail oriented with exceptional organizational skills.
    • Experience planning and implementing projects
    • Microsoft Server experience required
    • Networking experience required
    • Excellent communication skills
    • MCSA or MCSE Certifications preferred
