    The Major Account Executive - Healthcare is a strategic sales assignment with a mission to capture business within current and new Sharp healthcare customers.

    This role requires a detailed understanding of Sharp healthcare solutions along with a history of involvement in healthcare acute care and large ambulatory organizations. The MAEHC must have the ability to
    engage with executives within healthcare delivery networks and stand-alone community hospitals to articulate compelling, industry specific business solutions based on Sharp's healthcare solutions and services portfolio.

    The HEHC must possess a high degree of creativity, and have a proven record of accomplishment presenting software and technology solutions to senior healthcare executives.

    The MAEHC will personally drive revenue growth and initiatives into targeted accounts as well as act as a resource for other branch sales professionals.

    Responsibilities

    • Focus on generating new sales opportunities within assigned territories working in a team selling environment. Able to call on clients to develop new business level relationships in order to increase Sharp's revenue share.
    • Oversees complex capture, electronic document management (EDM) and document workflow projects. Works directly with solution partners in order to bring complex solution to a simple presentation and communication process as required for the enterprise environment.
    • Applies a consultative approach to all sales opportunities with customer C-level leaders and leadership groups in leveraging Sharp healthcare solution messaging with a high degree of business acumen to establish business enterprise outcomes.
    • Devises and delivers sales presentations, demonstrations, and proof-of-concepts leveraging Sharp sales methodologies.
    • Responsible for overseeing any discovery and design necessary to establish the Statement of Work (SOW) for solutions that meet client requirements. Must be able to be involved from solution concept through deployment with hand off to assigned support resources.
    • Oversee and be responsible for SOWs to deliver Sharp solutions, partner solutions, and assessment services offerings through analysis of customer business and technology requirements and the development of solutions to address customer requirements.
    • Generates new advanced solutions and energize healthcare clients by participating in customer workshops, vendor shows, symposiums, etc. to promote Sharp’s services offerings.
    • Manage client communications and expectations.
    • Participate in frequent communication of activities and account status meetings with assigned team members.
    • Engage vendor partners to assist in complex solutions where appropriate.
    • Works independently and utilizes the engagement process to obtain additional resource expertise where possible.
    • Responsible for meeting established sales quota.
    • Monitors competitive activity and trends within the territory

     

    Qualifications

    • Previous experience in the Healthcare industry
    • Four-year college degree or equivalent experience in the healthcare industry
    • Requires 4-7 years' experience in healthcare solutions sales, consulting services and/or healthcare leadership experience.
    • Experience selling into the C-suite and selling complex solutions and services
    • Broad knowledge of the industry’s policies, programs and services
    • BS/BA in Business administration or related field experience
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • A valid driver’s license
