    The Master Data Management Manager is responsible for leading the company wide effort for Master Data and providing ongoing leadership, governance and oversight for master and reference data in support of business needs.  Working with a cross functional team, the Manager will maintain, analyze, make system /process recommendations and work with HQ business partners to execute policy and process

    Responsibilities

    • Lead the technical solution design and the development to create a single source of truth via the MDM solutions
    • Evaluate and drive data management processes (i.e., define best practices and processes to support efficiencies within customer, products, and vendor data management)
    • Identify and define the right strategies to integrate Master data with other operational systems to leverage the Master data more efficiently and effectively
    • Track team’s progress, identify risks, issues and highlight to the project manager and leadership proactively
    • Lead and manage the team on the MDM specific activities such as define the cleanse rules, survivorship, match rules, etc. 
    • Collaborate with various technical teams and business users for development , QA and production support for the MDM platform 
    • Implement master data management standards, enforce data governance procedures and ensure data integrity across multiple platforms 
    • Provide thought leadership and direction to the tech leads and developers
    • Design, document and maintain data processes and flows across Master Data Management (MDM) and product lifecycle management (PLM) systems
    • Assist with business process mapping, data modeling, data mapping, and data visualization for product-related data initiatives 
    • Provide support and development to Branch Salesforce admin team regarding the ongoing cleansing of prospect records
    • Work with lease companies to update lease data records for consistency between lease company data and SAP
    • Assist in establishing best practices, policies and Standard Operating Procedures for customer master data maintenance and monitoring within SAP and Salesforce
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • 5+ years as a Master Data Management Analyst with reporting and Customer analysis experience, SAP or Oracle Master Data or Data Maintenance
    • Data extraction from various systems and data manipulation skills, including Salesforce.com, Microsoft Excel (pivot tables,) SQL and Access a Plus
    • Proficient in standard Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) SQL a Plus
    • 3+ year’s SAP query building preferred
    • Excellent verbal and written skills required. Must interface with management and field personnel, and external customers. Must be able to work in a team setting, as well as individually with minimal supervision.
    • Excellent analytical skills required; must be able to quickly analyze SAP master data issues for resolution.
    • Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent work experience
    • Ability to train others a plus. 

    Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

    • Must have advanced level of understanding of SAP or Oracle system functionality
    • Advanced excel skill set (i.e. VLookup, Pivot Tables)
    • Query/report development, testing/validation, and documentation skills essential
    • Ability to organize, evaluate, and produce complex data
    • Technical and business knowledge to solve problems, execute data analysis and data cleansing processes
    • Analytical thinking, detailed and organized
    • Routinely display the ability to prioritize with appropriate urgency and meet deadlines
