To support our growing business, Sharp Electronics is looking for a Visual Solutions Specialist to increase sales in our Business Systems division. We are currently hiring for opportunities in our Tempe area sales office. Candidates should be comfortable hunting for large deal opportunities within the enterprise and drive market share expansion in high potential target verticals through the general line sales force.


  • Responsible for meeting established sales quota by selling Sharp technology solutions and services.
  • Collaborates with sales reps to drive profitable business opportunities. Identifies prospects inside and outside the customer base of the company.
  • Assist sales teams with data collection and needs assessment. Determine customer pain points as it relates to management of their AV environment, technology, and technology assets.
  • Resolve customer issues through problem solving process; developing solutions; making recommendations. 
  • Stay on top of industry trends to identify potential opportunities for growth. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviews professional publications; establishes professional relationships through networking and association membership.
  • Lead strategic discussion relative to AV strategies, product demonstration, project assessment and validation, and assist our general sales force during the proposal and technical discovery phases of the sales cycle.
  • Oversees the resource planning and management for implementation of the designed solution or service.
  • Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as prospect pipeline analysis and sales participation/contribution management.



  • Bachelor’s degree or completion of relevant post-secondary technical and AV related training programs.
  • 2+ years’ experience selling advanced AV solutions.
  • Proficient in performing account analysis, financial modeling, and business forecasting experience.
  • CTS Certification.
  • Technology competent, understanding of MS Office applications.
  • Experience working with or similar CRM.
  • Valid US driver’s license and means to drive to multiple locations on a daily basis is required.
