To support our growing business, Sharp Electronics is looking for a Branch Sales Manager to increase sales in our Business Systems division. We are currently hiring for opportunities in our Montvale, NJ area sales office.

Responsibilities

Responsible for meeting established sales quota through:

  • Inspecting and coaching Account Executives on their performance against quota, health of their prospect pipeline, and execution of daily sales prospecting activities.
  • Providing written feedback to sales team regarding performance versus objectives, and clear direction on recovery actions.
  • Resolving customer issues through problem solving process; developing solutions; making recommendations.
  • Acting as client focal point for major customer accounts within sales territories.
  • Staying on top of industry trends to identify potential opportunities for growth.
  • Establishing a talent pipeline for recruiting via professional networking and engagement with business associations.
  • Sourcing, hiring, and training sales professionals as needed.
  • Keeping GM/GSM informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as prospect pipeline analysis and sales participation/contribution management.
  • Ensuring training delivery and compliance for both new hires (onboarding & new hire curriculum) and in-place Account Executives (on-going sales skill development & certifications).
  • Engaging formalized Performance Improvement to address non-performance as necessary.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years outside sales experience, 2+ years of sales management experience.
  • Bachelor’s or Associates degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • Experience selling document technology services and solutions preferred.
  • Technology competent, understanding of MS Office applications.
  • Experience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM.
  • Require a valid US driver’s license and means to drive to multiple locations on a daily basis.

  • Self-motivated and comfortable working with minimal direction.
