Under the supervision of the Associate Director of Accounting, the Senior Manager, Finance & Accounting is responsible for overseeing the review and analysis of monthly balance sheet reconciliations at the business unit level, journal entries, various monthly, quarterly and fiscal financial reporting; as well as providing business unit support.


  • Participate in monthly closing processes.
  • Prepare and/or review consolidated schedules during and post-close.
  • Coordinate the submission and review process of all branch balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Review and process accounting adjustments based on review, analysis, and reconciliations of accounts within area of responsibility.
  • Provide accounting support to branch personnel while coordinating with branch operations and SIICA business unit inter-company operations as a liaison to ensure proper and efficient accounting.
  • Liaise with internal and external audit for both financial and operational audits.
  • Participate in branch SAP conversion projects as the finance representative reviewing conversion data for key financial impacts.
  • Provide accounting support for new acquisition of SBS branches in the form of purchase price allocation, mapping of GL accounts from the legacy system to SAP and monthly general accounting support.
  • Research accounting technical guidance as needed as it relates to revenue, goodwill, etc.
  • Prepare goodwill impairment analysis and coordinate with various business partners to gather key data assumptions.
  • Provide training for accounting functions in SAP and guidance to branch accounting personnel as to the resolution of open items on the balance or the accounting flow related to operational functions.
  • Assist in various assignments, ad hoc tasks and special projects as assigned by Management.



  • B.S. degree in Accounting required.
  • MBA and/or CPA preferred.
  • At least 7-15 years of general accounting and financial reporting experience in related industry.
  • Public accounting experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of operational and financial processes and practical application of financial and strategic analysis
  • Ability to be recognized as a leader in the Company’s Finance function. Demonstrate tactical and strategic thinking leadership skills as well as a high level of integrity.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel required. Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Access and Word also required.
  • Working knowledge of SAP and SAP Business Warehouse desired.
  • Must have good oral and written communication.
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical and leadership skills required.
