The Government/Education Account Executive establishes comprehensive marketing plans to penetrate specific state and federal government and educational accounts to attain assigned unit and revenue objectives. This individual works closely with the Branch Sales Manager at the agency-decision making level. Responsible for presentations regarding Sharp corporate direction and new information system products top specific government and education accounts.


  • Directly accountable for selling all Sharp Copier/Printer products to assigned government agencies and educational institutions.
  • Develops and implements annual Sharp marketing programs.
  • Responsible for maximizing revenues and unit potential within assigned government agencies and educational institutions.
  • Creates proposals and conducts presentations to agency management on new products and trends from Sharp.
  • Prepares and submits required activity reports and forecasts in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for management of forecasted and planned budget levels in assigned agencies with emphasis on revenues, productivity levels and unit placements.


  • Reports directly to the Branch Sales Manager.
  • Works closely with Sharp’s Government Account Manager.
  • Supports two other Sharp Electronics dealers on a first come, first serve basis
  • Reports to Branch Sales Manager and interfaces with branch sales reps, marketing executives and administrative personnel who are working with existing government/education clients and exploring new opportunities.
  • Partners with Branch sales, sales support and service technicians to achieve customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinates with SBS sales, marketing, customer service and business development and administrative personnel.
  • Valid Driver's License
