Join the dynamic Sharp team as one of our Brand Marketing Intern. This internship provides an excellent opportunity for college students to immerse themselves in the thrilling realm of consumer brand marketing. As an intern, you'll report to the Associate Brand Marketing Manager and collaborate with our marketing team, designers, developers, content creators, and PR professionals on diverse corporate projects. Responsibilities

Brand Marketing

  • Assist in the implementation of strategic marketing campaigns to promote products/services and drive sales.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for marketing initiatives and campaigns.
  • Support the coordination of promotional activities, including drafting promotional messaging, organizing promotional materials, and monitoring promotional performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency across all marketing channels.

 

eCommerce Multi-Channel Management Platform

  • Aid in creating and optimizing product details pages across all Sharp Home Appliance web properties to enhance the online shopping experience.
  • Assist in managing third-party marketplaces such as Walmart, Amazon, and Facebook storefronts, ensuring accurate product listings and timely updates.
  • Assist in implementing branding elements and storytelling techniques within product listings and descriptions across online channels, aiming to enhance brand recognition and resonate with target consumers.

 

SEO

  • Collaborate with the digital marketing agency to implement SEO strategies and tactics, enhancing product visibility and driving traffic to online platforms.
  • Create compelling blog content that aligns with the brand's voice, values, and target audience while integrating relevant keywords to improve search engine visibility.

Qualifications

  • Enrolled as a soon-to-be Junior or Senior in a 4-year degree program, preferably with a focus on business or communications.
  • Robust proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
  • Experience in writing is preferred.
  • Familiarity with eCommerce platforms such as BigCommerce or Shopify is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills along with outstanding written and oral communication skills

Compensation: The hourly rate is $17/hr.

Duration: The internship program spans approximately 10 weeks, running from June 3rd to August 9th, 2024.

Work Arrangement: This is a hybrid position, requiring interns to be in the office in Montvale, NJ, four days a week (Monday to Thursday), with Fridays designated for remote work at the manager's discretion. 

Transportation: Since the office location in Montvale, NJ, is not accessible by public transportation, interns must have reliable transportation.

Housing: We do not provide housing or a housing stipend for interns.

Work Visa: Unfortunately, we do not offer work visa sponsorship for this role, including participation in Curricular Practical Training (CPT), Optional Practical Training (OPT), and F-1 Visa programs.
