Overview

Under the direction of the Senior Director of Media Production and the Manager of Media Production, the Associate Digital Media Producer is responsible for performing the duties required by the Media Production team. The successful candidate should have a working familiarity with the inner workings of our studio and the equipment within, this includes video cameras, audio boards/recorders, microphones, lighting, professional video switchers, and video encoder hardware used for producing live feeds. Also, candidate will be required to act as a liaison with marketing and training teams to produce any and all content. Corresponding with internal and external customers via email and telephone, and performing administrative duties as necessary. This position is based in Montvale, NJ corporate headquarters.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Work with our team to develop video content for sales and service training, as well as promotional scripted vignettes.
  • Shoot and edit raw footage into final product, including adding music, voiceovers, graphics, etc.
  • Management of studio equipment, including upkeep, troubleshooting issues with same, and researching and suggesting new equipment.
  • Independently setup and broadcast live events using Blackmagic Design video switchers and Teradek video encoders.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot issues with in-office video walls.
  • Accept being accountable and responsible in work practices and expectations and deliver what is promised in a professional manner.
  • Candidate will work with Product Specialists to craft projects for the use of SIICA’s channel partners as well as internal staff.

Qualifications

  • Portfolio showcasing relevant work required for consideration.  

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 3+ years of relevant video production experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
  • Previous experience with livestreaming equipment and software required.
  • Previous experience with Blackmagic Design video switchers and Teradek video encoders a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office required, working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud -Premiere and Audition required.
  • Basic photography skills a required.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and After Effect preferred, but not required.
  • Working knowledge of Canon C-Series cameras, Canon Pro camcorders, and Blackmagic Design cameras required.
  • Working understanding of general audio recording techniques.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills are required.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Travel will be required.

Compensation for this position

The compensation range for this role is $50,000-$80,000. The listed salary range or contractual rate excludes bonuses, incentives, differential pay, and any other forms of compensation or benefits. The starting salary will be determined by several variables, including but not limited to experience, education, training, certification, and location. You may also be eligible to receive an annual discretionary incentive award, commissions, and program-specific awards, which are subject to the rules governing these programs.
