Overview

The Regional Sales Order Process Manager oversees the entirety of the sales order processing, lease administration and coordination functions within the region.   The position is responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate processing of all branch sales orders and contracts, in compliance with all Sharp Electronics policies and procedures.  The manager is responsible for hiring, mentoring and developing a team of sales coordinators and will work closely with other senior members of the administration staff as well as sales and service leaders. 

Responsibilities

  • Manages a region team of Sales Order Processing staff
  • Serves as a coach and mentor to all levels of Sales Coordinator staff while identifying Sales Order Processing enhancement opportunities.  Provides regular performance management to staff.
  • Assists the Region Operations Manager with the overall leadership of the Region Operations Team
  • Ensure completeness and accuracy of order documents including leasing requirements and maintenance contract is adhered to across the Region.
  • Inspect orders and maintenance contracts in SAP and CRM while ensuring the proper recognition of revenue in accordance with Company policy and GAAP.
  • Maintains documentation, paperwork workflow and completes audit reporting requests in a timely manner as required.
  • Maintain a consistent process for out-of-territory deliveries and ongoing service with dealer partners
  • Acts as liaison with Corporate National Accounts as orders warrant
  • Tracking and timely reporting of order status as per Sales Potential (ZOFT) report from entry to final invoicing.  Tracking of consignment orders to completion with adherence to company policy.
  • Works closely in delivery scheduling and planning on order fulfillment communication to internal and external customer.
  • Provide administrative and system support for sales representatives including providing support for Quarterly Business Reviews.
  • Assists in timely and accurate sales commission processing and reporting according to Sharp policy.  This includes commission communication with the Sales team.
  • Display proven proficiency in SAP and CRM
  • Provides new hire and continued training and development to other Sales Coordinators and the Sales team regarding the sales order operational workflow.
  • Manages, as required, the Inter-Territorial Process and Dealer partnerships.
  • Effectively leverage and allocate branch resources regionally to meet business needs and objectives.
  • Participates in the support of corporate activities and initiatives.
  • Establishes Regional communication and collaboration methods.
  • Manages staff schedules to ensure appropriate staffing.
  • Develops and streamlines best practices across the Region.
  • Understanding of Master Data partner functions.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years’ experience management experience in a high volume sales environment or related field
  • 10+ years’ experience with various roles in a sales organization or similar capacity in an administrative financing role
  • 1-2 years’ experience with SAP preferred
  • Highly detail oriented with exceptional organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with an emphasis on Excel
  • Superb written and oral communications skills
  • College degree preferred
  • Travel as required

Compensation for this position

The compensation range for this role is $52,725- $104,500. The listed salary range or contractual rate excludes bonuses, incentives, differential pay, and any other forms of compensation or benefits. The starting salary will be determined by several variables, including but not limited to experience, education, training, certification, and location. You may also be eligible to receive an annual discretionary incentive award, commissions, and program-specific awards, which are subject to the rules governing these programs.
