Overview

The Regional Business Development Representative (Inside Sales Rep) is a specialized in-house sales role that works closely with the sales leadership and sales team. The primary responsibility of this position is to generate qualified new client leads to set appointments for branch sales representatives. Additional functions include maintaining customer relationship database.

Responsibilities

The majority of the day will be focused on daily outbound prospecting activities via phone calls, emails, marketing campaigns and lead generation to clients to secure qualified appointments for branch sales representatives.

  • Daily outbound calls to targeted accounts, introducing our products and services and generating leads and appointments for branch sales representatives.
  • Maintaining a detailed customer relationship management database reflecting all calls, appointments, and related activities.
  • Updating the customer relationship management database with current company and contact information.
  • Daily activity with lead intent generation via ZoomInfo resource tools to Salesforce.
  • Researching within your specific assignment to identify businesses that are not in the customer relationship management database and entering the company and contact information into the database.
  • Gathering information on competitive equipment, including types of equipment and lease expirations, and entering it into the customer relationship management database.
  • Inviting clients to SBS sales events and following up with attendees to set appointments with branch sales representatives.
  • Meet or exceed established appointment monthly KPI’s.
  • Review weekly with manager on secured meetings, sales completion, and review status of all pending leads.

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years’ experience in telemarketing, sales, lead generation, sales enablement, or similar activities.
  • Experience working with key decisions makers (C-level corporate managers).
  • Experience in a dealer/distributor sales environment.
  • Good knowledge of sales, service, and administrative functions.
  • Technology competent, understanding of MS Office applications and virtual meeting platforms.
  • Experience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM and ZoomInfo a plus
  • Broad knowledge of the organization's policies, products and/or services.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, especially telephone and written communications.

Compensation for this position

The compensation range for this role is $25,970-$74,750. The listed salary range or contractual rate excludes bonuses, incentives, differential pay, and any other forms of compensation or benefits. The starting salary will be determined by several variables, including but not limited to experience, education, training, certification, and location. You may also be eligible to receive an annual discretionary incentive award, commissions, and program-specific awards, which are subject to the rules governing these programs.
