Overview

Under the direction of the VP of Sales, Senior Account Executive – Federal Sales, is responsible for growing business in the newly formed federal sales division within Dynabook Americas Inc.

Responsibilities

  • Experience with selling direct and into government contract vehicles
  • Extensive knowledge of federal acquisition regulations and federal government budgeting processes
  • Identify, target, and develop your business plan for this space by your knowledge of the overall market, contract vehicles and agencies
  • Overall responsibility working with leadership team for assisting with the development and execution of DBA’s go-to-market strategy.
  • Work closely with the field AE’s that have federal opportunities to help guide their sales efforts and educate on federal best practices
  • Clear, concise, and direct communication skills briefing senior business executives and customers
  • Proven ability to provide accurate long-range forecasting of revenues, orders, and margins for your book of business
  • Travel in your territory is 75%; face to face meetings is a requirement
  • Grow DBA federal market share to 3% the first year

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree, or Ten (10) years or more of demonstrated quota attainment in federal sales
  • Strong presentation skills, verbal and written, with the ability to successfully influence and persuade technical and non-technical audiences
  • Understanding of sales principals and experience executing a business strategy within federal accounts and reseller partners
  • Hunter mentality.  Looking for a sales representative that has a passion for growing and developing a new business segment for Dynabook
  • Must have strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task effectively, and a drive for client satisfaction.

Compensation for this position

The compensation range for this role is $73,425- $135,400. The listed salary range or contractual rate excludes bonuses, incentives, differential pay, and any other forms of compensation or benefits. The starting salary will be determined by several variables, including but not limited to experience, education, training, certification, and location. You may also be eligible to receive an annual discretionary incentive award, commissions, and program-specific awards, which are subject to the rules governing these programs.
