Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Intern to join our team. This position is an excellent opportunity for a student or recent graduate to gain hands-on experience in sales operations, Salesforce administration, lead generation, and sales data analysis. The intern will support the sales team in streamlining processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and contributing to the overall success of the organization.

Responsibilities

Salesforce Administration

  • Learn and assist with Salesforce administrative tasks, including user support and process optimization.
  • Conduct a project focused on improving Salesforce efficiency and adoption.
  • Review and refine sales processes within Salesforce to align with business objectives.
  • Engage with the sales team to understand pain points and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
  • Identify weaknesses within account data and collaborate with the sales team to enhance accuracy and completeness.
  • Perform data clean-up to ensure the integrity of sales information.
  • Monitor and track sales activities in Salesforce to maintain up-to-date records.

Lead Generation

  • Research and identify potential leads through a combination of cold calling, email campaigns, and data analysis.
  • Assist in the development and execution of strategies targeting government and state opportunities.
  • Support the sales team in building a pipeline of qualified leads.

Sales Data Analysis

  • Analyze sales data to extract meaningful insights about end-user trends and opportunities.
  • Prepare monthly sales reports segmented by reseller and end-user activity.
  • Provide actionable recommendations based on data analysis to support sales growth initiatives.

 

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM systems is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced sales environment.

Summer Internship Details:

  • Compensation: The hourly rate is $18/hr.
  • Duration: The internship program spans approximately 10 weeks, running from June 2nd to August 15th, 2025.
  • Work Arrangement: This is a hybrid position, requiring interns to be in the office in Downers Grove, IL four days a week (Monday to Thursday), with Fridays designated for remote work at the manager's discretion.  .
  • Housing: We do not provide housing or a housing stipend for interns.
  • Work Visa: Unfortunately, we do not offer work visa sponsorship for this role, including participation in Curricular Practical Training (CPT), Optional Practical Training (OPT), and F-1 Visa programs.
