Overview

The Applications Technical Support Representative is responsible for overall customer support in Papercut and Print Audit.  This individual provides and maintains excellent customer service and serves as the frontline service contact for our external and internal customers. They are expected to possess expert-level knowledge and skill. While overall functions and responsibleness fall under the Sales department, day-to-day supervision will be within Service.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities and authorities stated below are subject to established policies.

• Provides customer support for Papercut.
• Supports Sales in relation to Papercut and Print Audit
• Assesses support for technical Print Audit deployments.
• Implements large Papercut Installs

 

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-7 years experience as a Service Technician in copier repair, or similar capacity working with electronics or electro-mechanical equipment.
• Must possess and maintain CompTIA A+ and NET+ certification.
• Must possess effective communication skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Must successfully complete Sharp equipment pretest and training.
• Knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office software products preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Must be able to travel locally on a daily basis to various customer sites.
  • Requires frequent kneeling and bending and considerable use of hands and tools.
  • Frequently requires moving or lifting of up to 75 pounds.

Compensation for this position

The compensation range for this role is $42,100-$54,500. The listed salary range or contractual rate excludes bonuses, incentives, differential pay, and any other forms of compensation or benefits. The starting salary will be determined by several variables, including but not limited to experience, education, training, certification, and location. You may also be eligible to receive an annual discretionary incentive award, commissions, and program-specific awards, which are subject to the rules governing these programs.
