Overview

Responsible for designing, testing, troubleshooting, implementing, and maintaining databases to support operations and related activities. Design work will include the application of various programming languages such as PHP and Python. Improvements and maintenance will also be required for existing databases.

Responsibilities

  • Work with production engineers to identify database and software solutions for operations.
  • Design, create, implement and maintain database solutions.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot existing applications for optimal efficiency.  
  • Write database queries to extract and manipulate data.
  • Develop and implement data backups.
  • Design compliance labels and maintain databases in software packages such as Labelview and BarTender.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • Expertise in at least one programming language.
  • Knowledge of database management such as MySQL

Compensation for this position

The compensation range for this role is $35,100 - $70,000. The listed salary range or contractual rate excludes bonuses, incentives, differential pay, and any other forms of compensation or benefits. The starting salary will be determined by several variables, including but not limited to experience, education, training, certification, and location. You may also be eligible to receive an annual discretionary incentive award, and program-specific awards, which are subject to the rules governing these programs.
