Overview

The IT Data Analyst role centers on delivering IT solutions across various business functions, with a strong background in analyzing data, generating insights, and supporting data-driven decision-making processes. This role involves having in-depth knowledge of modeling, data integration and advanced dashboard techniques in an SAP environment.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and interpret complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Integrate, harmonize and model data using current SAP based tools, such as Datasphere, to support enterprise data initiatives.
  • Design and develop dashboards/reports using industry-standard tools such as Analytics Cloud and Power BI
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity by performing regular data audits and validations.
  • Provide technical support and training to team members and end-users on data tools
  • Stay informed of the latest tools, technologies, and best practices in data analytics, governance, and data management.
  • Monitor system performance and data flows
  • Create and maintain documentation for data processes, models, and systems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in a Data Analyst role, with hands-on expertise in BW/4HANA or Datasphere.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python, ETL tools, and at least one programming language commonly used for data
  • Strong background in data visualization and reporting tools such as Analytics Cloud or Power BI
  • Excellent analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into understandable business terms.
  • Understanding of data privacy and security regulations, including practices for ensuring data confidentiality and integrity.
  • Ability to create structured documentation and clearly communicate technical processes.

Compensation for this position

The compensation range for this role is $80,000-$100,000. The listed salary range or contractual rate excludes bonuses, incentives, differential pay, and any other forms of compensation or benefits. The starting salary will be determined by several variables, including but not limited to experience, education, training, certification, and location. You may also be eligible to receive an annual discretionary incentive award, commissions, and program-specific awards, which are subject to the rules governing these programs.
