Overview

Under the supervision of the Director of Credit Shared Services, the Reconciliation Specialist is responsible for the review, analysis, and reconciliation of Sales and Inventory related Chargebacks/Residuals all within department goals and objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Review customer accounts daily to ensure appropriate receivable line items are not aged beyond parameters set within the monthly individual goals
  • Matches appropriate sales-issued credits (bid-quote, MDF, price protection, etc.) to authorized customer chargebacks so the balance is reconciled accurately and promptly, including reporting any difference discrepancies to the appropriate internal or external customer
  • Matches appropriate inventory-issued credits (return, shortage, damage, etc.) to authorized customer chargebacks so the balance is reconciled accurately and promptly, including reporting any difference discrepancies to the appropriate internal or external customer
  • Identifies compliance charges and advises the respective business units logistics group to review and determine their validity
  • Works cohesively with Collection Analysts to justify Denials and achieve goals.
  • Distributes weekly results reports to multiple business units on the aging status of open residuals

Qualifications

  • Associate Degree required, Bachelors a plus
  • 6+ years experience with Accounts Receivable Reconciliation
  • Experience with the latest PC / Windows Applications and Software (Excel, Word)
  • Prior experience working within SAP required
  • Ability to effectively interface with individuals from multiple departments on all levels.
  • Self-motivated/innovative individual with strong multi-tasking skills
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal

Compensation for this position

The compensation range for this role is $59,000- $70,000. The listed salary range or contractual rate excludes bonuses, incentives, differential pay, and any other forms of compensation or benefits. The starting salary will be determined by several variables, including but not limited to experience, education, training, certification, and location. You may also be eligible to receive an annual discretionary incentive award, commissions, and program-specific awards, which are subject to the rules governing these programs.
