Overview

The MITS Customer Success Representative is a specialized sales professional focused on Sharp Business Systems’ IT Services and Software Solutions for the SMB (small and medium business) market segment. This role is responsible for client retention, account growth, and overall customer satisfaction. Success is achieved through both individual contributions (maintaining, developing, and closing business) and team selling, partnering with branch sales executives as a client-facing subject matter expert.

Responsibilities

  • Core responsibility is to maintain client relationships and existing IT services for identified accounts.
  • Maintain and renew support agreements.
  • Expand IT services and projects in existing clients.
  • Introduce Product Line Specialists for other Sharp categories
  • Determine needs in customer’s environments and introduce approved products and services.
  • Communicate effectively with Clients and identify potential risks.
  • Prepare documents for Executive business Review working closely with Engineering team identify project labor and hardware opportunities.
  • Perform Executive Business Reviews for identified Clients at least once per fiscal half or as determined by National MITS Sales Manager or GM.
  • Identify opportunities from assessment and translate opportunities to a business case. Describe benefits in terms of financial justification as well as improvement in quality, performance, and uptime.
  • Lead strategic discussions relative to IT strategies to a non­technical audience.
  • Build Technical roadmaps to assist customers in meeting their current and future needs.
  • Assists Sales and Engineering teams with data collection software tools.
  • Responsible for engaging engineering resources (both sales and technical) to support pre-and-post sales efforts.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly sales analysis, activity reports and submit to upper management for review.
  • Collaborates with specialists on proactive account strategies, account reviews, and proposal development.
  • Present quotes for customers for additional project labor, hardware, as well as MRR projects and services.
  • The goal is to have all our customers have our foundation package as a minimum standard.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2+ years in an equivalent application/sales engineering and/or B2B IT services position with proven sales/support experience.
  • Experience specifically with pre-sales, and sales support activity, as well as service-related support issues.
  • Knowledge of the most widely used network technologies and topologies, and industry software.
  • Ability to communicate technical information effectively verbally, in written and graphic formats.
  • Experience with 0365 tools
  • Highly detail oriented with exceptional organizational skills.
  • Experience in creating and assisting in delivery of professional sales presentations.
  • Experience selling to local commercial accounts in territory.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Compensation for this position

The compensation range for this role is $55,400 - $58,000. The listed salary range or contractual rate excludes bonuses, incentives, differential pay, and any other forms of compensation or benefits. The starting salary will be determined by several variables, including but not limited to experience, education, training, certification, and location. You may also be eligible to receive an annual discretionary incentive award, commissions, and program-specific awards, which are subject to the rules governing these programs.
