Overview

This position serves as the main link between Sharp, its customers, sales teams, and manufacturing sites. The Customer Service Representative oversees all aspects of order management and delivery logistics, ensuring smooth operations from order entry to fulfillment. Key responsibilities include processing orders, managing inventory and demand forecasts, coordinating with factories, and maintaining accurate records to support Sharp’s business objectives. Success in this role requires proactive communication, strong analytical skills, and attention to detail to drive on-time delivery, optimize sales, and enhance customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Data entry of new and change orders into the SAP system.
  • Generates routine order and customer correspondence.
  • Collaborates with the Planning team to issue product purchase orders to offshore factories, determining quantities based on customer stocking agreements, inventory levels, and manufacturing lead times.
  • Tracks delivery communications from factories and ensures the order processing system reflects the most current and accurate information.
  • Oversee the handling of ‘escalated’ special assignments and problems and effectively communicates responses to product application issues.
  • Use various websites, both customer and warehouse, to monitor and track inventory.
  • Create commercial invoices, sales invoices, credits and debits.
  • Create ad hoc reports
  • Interact with sales, marketing, vendors, factories, finance, IT, and SECD management.
  • Follow stated guidelines for processing transactions.
  • Answer incoming calls, emails regarding delivery, billing issues and general sales concerns.
  • Perform other duties as required by Sharp Management
  • Establishes priorities, organizes workloads, and keeps Management informed of the more difficult and complex assignments.

Maintains regular attendance in accordance with current position needs and department expectations as defined by divisional executive management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, business or supply chain focus ideal.
  • 5 years of experience in customer service, or customer operations in the electronics or manufacturing industry.
  • Experience in understanding and processing many transactions / high dollar's value
  • Customer relations experience required
  • Fluent in Excel, SAP experience preferred
  • Has strong time management skills, a multitasker, is highly organized, detail and goal orientated, and has the capability to problem solve
  • Is driven to achieve thoroughness and accuracy when accomplishing a task through concern for all the areas
  • Must have strong analytical skills: The foresight to comprehend, troubleshoot, conceptualize, articulate, and solve both complex and uncomplicated issues by making decisions that are sensible based on available information
  • Prior experience with SAP, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook, MS Teams
  • Possess excellent written communication and verbal skills

Compensation for this position

The compensation range for this consultant role is $55,000 - $65,000. The starting salary will be determined by several variables, including but not limited to experience, education, training, certification, and location.
