Overview

The Director of Service and Solutions Operations will lead and expand operational capabilities to support the full lifecycle of service and solutions delivery for Sharp Display products. This role will oversee all aspects of display production—including indoor and outdoor dvLED—and ensure seamless coordination across Sales, Pre-Install Solutions, Customer Proposals, Display Configuration, Installation, and Post-Installation Support. The Director will drive operational excellence, optimize processes, and align resources to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute operational strategies to support growth in dvLED and display solutions.
  • Expand managed services offerings and ensure profitability across all service lines.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Pre-Install Solutions, and Proposal teams to ensure accurate configurations and timely installations.
  • Act as the primary liaison between operations and sales to support revenue goals.
  • Own end-to-end project delivery, including planning, resource allocation, and execution.
  • Oversee installation sourcing, vendor negotiations, and quality assurance for all display projects.
  • Manage production schedules for indoor and outdoor dvLED displays.
  • Coordinate with R&D and factory teams for custom product development and enhancements.
  • Lead a team of managers and specialists; provide mentorship and establish clear performance metrics.
  • Identify organizational needs and create job descriptions for future roles as the business scales.
  • Ensure exceptional customer engagement throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Develop post-installation support programs and external maintenance networks.
  • Monitor budgets, labor costs, and profitability metrics.
  • Implement best practices for resource utilization and cost optimization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related technical field (MBA preferred).
  • 10+ years of management experience in operations, with at least 5 years in display or AV solutions.
  • Proven track record in project management, budgeting, and global team leadership.
  • Demonstrate strong technical knowledge of dvLED and display technologies.
  • Exhibit excellent negotiation, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%, including international travel.

Compensation for this position

The compensation range for this role is $180,000 - $215,000. The listed salary range or contractual rate excludes bonuses, incentives, differential pay, and any other forms of compensation or benefits. The starting salary will be determined by several variables, including but not limited to experience, education, training, certification, and location. You may also be eligible to receive an annual discretionary incentive award, commissions, and program-specific awards, which are subject to the rules governing these programs.
